Community Day

(Para a versão em português, visite Dia da Comunidade)

Will WordPress continue to be relevant? And what role will the community and new tools, such as artificial intelligence, play in how we develop for the web?

On May 15, we invite you to take part in WordCamp Portugal Community Day at the António Cupertino de Miranda Foundation in Porto.

Participation is included in the WordCamp ticket, but mandatory pre-registration (opens April 27th) is required for organizational and logistical reasons.

AI & WordPress

SEO/GEO & Performance

Freelancers & Agencies

Translations & Community

This will be a day dedicated to sharing, learning, and collaboration, with a focus on WordPress, but also on web development in general, the current challenges of the industry, and how we work as a community.

A welcoming environment, a day of sharing

Historically known as “Contributor Day,” we want this new Community Day to be an accessible and welcoming space for everyone, regardless of experience level. Throughout the day, you’ll find different formats designed to engage all participants.

No prior contribution experience is required, just a willingness to take part. If it’s your first time at a WordCamp, you’ll find volunteers ready to welcome you, guide you, and help you get involved in the different activities throughout the day.

Colaboration Spaces (10h – 13h)

Sharing and contribution tables where you can discuss current topics, exchange experiences, and collaborate with other members of the community. From security, performance, and accessibility to AI, freelancing, and career sustainability.

Community Forum (2:00 PM – 3:00 PM)

An open session to reflect on the state of the WordPress community in Portugal, identify challenges and opportunities, and share ideas about the future.

Sharing Sessions (3:00 PM – 5:00 PM)

Sharing Sessions (3:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
