Speaker applications for WordCamp Portugal 2026 are officially open until 28 February 2026.
Session formats
We are accepting submissions for the following session formats:
- Standard Talk – 20-minute presentation followed by 5 minutes of Q&A
- Long Talk – 45-minute presentation followed by 5 minutes of Q&A
- Workshop – Hands-on session lasting 2 or 4 hours
In the submission form, you can specify the format and any specific requirements for your session.
What we offer Speakers
If your proposal is selected, you will receive:
- Free admission to the event
- Access to the speakers’ dinner with the organizing team and fellow speakers on 15 May
We want to ensure that all speakers feel valued and fully integrated into the community.
Who we’re looking for
We want WordCamp Portugal 2026 to reflect the diversity of the WordPress community in Portugal. We encourage speakers from all experience levels, backgrounds and career paths to apply. You don’t need to be a professional speaker. If you have hands-on experience with a WordPress-related topic and are willing to share it, we want to hear from you.

- Accessibility
- Design and UX
- Block Editor / Full Site Editing (FSE)
- AI – Artificial Intelligence
- Business and entrepreneurship
- Security
- Marketing and SEO

- Community and open-source contribution
…as well as other topics related to WordPress and its impact on the digital world.
How the process works
After submitting your proposal, the program team will review all applications and should get back to you with feedback before the end of March.
